Who Is This Guy?

I’ve spent most of my life in Mobile, with brief sojourns in Tuscaloosa, New Orleans, Hattiesburg, and Gulf Shores. I love this city. It’s where I met my wife, Jennifer. After spending a few years away working in churches and going to seminary, God called my family back to Mobile to plant a church. It’s tiring, stressful, and frustrating; most of all, it’s rewarding. I am extremely fulfilled knowing that this is what God has called me to do.

When I grow up I want to be some combination of Francis Chan, Waylon Jennings, and Han Solo. I like comic books, music, football, movies, and books. I enjoy writing, going on dates with my wife, and taking my kids McCartney and Judah to the park. I don’t like liars, incompetent politicians, or UFC. Sometimes I cook.
